Abstract
The most important factor in the survival and durability of organizations is to have a long-term strategic attitude. Organizations that do not have a strategic view are subjected to the daily process and are happy with previous successes, while the times are changing rapidly and it won't be long before the competitors overtake the competition with their resourcefulness and efforts. Finally, ignoring future developments and not training human resources for the future means that we do not have access to capable, committed and expert people when we need them, and the organization suffers a crisis by employing people who are not trained for those jobs.
To answer the question, what is the appropriate model of succession in the view of the Commander in Chief Ayatollah Khamenei (May his shadow last) The analysis of the content of the statements of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei (May his shadow last) was carried out.
The statistical population of the research is all the statements of the Commander-in-Chief regarding succession on the Commander in Chief Ayatollah Khamenei (May his shadow last) site. In the internet search, 12 cases of succession, 71 cases of substitution, 407 cases of organization, 27 cases of youth, 407 cases of talent management, 20 cases of staffing, and 114 cases of appointment of the armed forces were used. 47 texts as a unit of analysis were also extracted from the upstream documents within the armed forces.
The appropriate model for succession management was determined by the method of theme analysis in the form of 4 organizing themes of the basics, principles, processes and characteristics of the successor.
