This study aims to move from static assessment toward dynamic performance management in AJA officer universities by modeling the Imam Ali (AS) Military University using the system dynamics approach. The four dimensions of performance—training, education, research, and financial-credit—were identified as interconnected subsystems, and their causal loops and stock–flow structures were developed in the Vensim environment. Data from 2020 to 2023 were used to simulate the real behavior of the system, and the model was validated through two standard tests: “historical behavior reproduction” and “extreme conditions.” Quantitative results showed that the model’s alignment with official benchmark indicators was 64% in the educational dimension, 59% in the training dimension, 50% in the financial-credit dimension, and 45% in the research dimension, indicating an acceptable representation of the university’s actual structure. Scenario simulations revealed that educational interventions sustainably improve academic performance, research-oriented interventions stabilize scientific output and innovation, and training-focused interventions enhance value-based identity, participation, and students’ self-confidence. Based on these findings, adopting integrated policy packages, establishing a unified dynamic performance management system, aligning inputs with institutional capacities, and creating a continuous feedback cycle between the university and operational units can significantly enhance the sustainable performance of AJA officer universities.
